About Kevin

Kevin Graves is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in working with adults, couples, and adolescents navigating:

  • Neurodivergence (ADHD, autism)

  • Anxiety and OCD

  • Mood disorders (depression, bipolar, peripartum/postpartum)

  • PTSD and trauma

  • Oppression and minority stress

  • Relationship challenges

  • Career and life transitions

  • Self-compassion and self-confidence building

As a member of the 2SLGBTQIAP+ community, Kevin provides affirming care across gender, sexual, romantic, racial/ethnic, ability, size, and neurological identities, tailoring treatment from psychodynamic, humanistic-existential, and postmodern therapies.

Kevin earned their B.A. in Psychology (magna cum laude, Truman & Fulbright finalist) from Columbia University and completed their clinical internship at the Gender & Family Project at the Ackerman Institute, supporting transgender and gender-diverse youth and their families. They later coordinated NIH-funded research on HIV and substance use at Columbia University Medical Center. Kevin earned their M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy (magna cum laude, Topping & AHEC fellowships) from the University of Southern California, where they also supported student-athletes with executive functioning challenges as a learning specialist. They trained at Pelican Cove Counseling Center—later serving as Clinical Director—and completed associateships at Meridian Counseling and CARE-LA.

Beyond their clinical work, Kevin is a passionate advocate for equity and enjoys making music, tutoring Spanish, writing, and sunset hikes. They have DJed for Madonna and remixed Adele and Sia.
